Views are sought on amending permitted development in Wales to allow greater flexibility for the installation of air source heat pumps (ASHPs).
Proposals include removing the rule that an ASHP should be 3 metres from a property boundary.
Another proposal is to increase the volume of an AHSP from 1 cubic metre to 1.5 cubic metres.
Consideration is being given to allowing retrofitting of ASHPs for blocks of flats.
The consultation also covers electric vehicle charging points and pop up campsites.
The IOA are convening a working group to consider a response.
The consultation is open until July 1st.
